Hondata K-PRO

The Hondata K-Series Programmable ECU (K-PRO) consists of a hardware modification to any Honda K-Series ECU, plus Windows which allows you to re-program the ECU and data-log sensors.

Product Notes:

Choice of brand new ECU w/K-PRO installation, *customer supplied core ECU for K-PRO installation, or used ECU for K-PRO installation.
A brand new ECU purchases do not require a core.
A brand new ECU K-PRO 02-04 PRB ECU for 02-04 or *05-06 RSX vehicle use.
*K-PRO cost for 05-06 RSX vehicle use includes adapter harness

Note for customer supplied ECU: Hondata will inspect the condition of your core ECU before the K-PRO installation takes place. If they find a problem with your core ECU and cannot perform the K-PRO installation (ie. water damage, burned pcb, etc) you will here back from us. Return shipping fees may applied in this case.

05-06 RSX K-PRO Note:
Hondata modifies the 02-04 PRB ECU specifically for 05-06 RSX use which also includes an adapter harness. Once modified, the 02-04 PRB ECU cannot be used for 02-04 RSX anymore. Hondata does not modify 05-06 PRB ECU's.

Note: 5-speed ECU's do not have reverse lock out capabilities when used with a 6-speed K-series transmission. Miss-shifting into reverse while moving forward can/will result in certain catastrophic transmission destruction! JHPUSA and Hondata will NOT be responsible for transmission damages.

**JDM ECU Note: Hondata may or may not accept JDM PRC or PRD ECU's. These ECU's can sometimes acquire certain damage or issues due to overseas shipping (water damage for example). So, just be aware that your JDM ECU may or may not be rejected by Hondata once sent in by us for a KPRO job. We will inform you if it is rejected.

Honda may not cover mechanical damage to the engine under warranty resulting from exceeding the factory red line. Hondata & JHPUSA will not cover any damage as a result of installing this product.

This is a Race Only product that is to be used solely for competition. It cannot be used on vehicles that are operated on public streets, roads or highways. Its use is limited to closed-course and open-course racing that is formally sanctioned by a recognized racing organization. Any other use, including recreational off-road use, could be in violation of local, state and federal laws.
